Amanda Pilbrow (Chairperson)

Carey Baptist College

Amanda has just completed a Masters of Applied Theology with Distinction through Carey Baptist College exploring topics of spirituality, sexuality, wholeness, diversity and inclusion. Amanda has a background in sales and people management, people care, is an artist, and has previously served as a Pastor for Young Adults for 5 years. Additionally, Amanda has been a Volunteer Honorary Chaplain at The University of Auckland and Massey University.

Greg Eden (Treasurer)

Chartered Accountant, EPPL

As the founder of accounting practice Eden Perich Prewett, Greg has exceptional financial management skills. He couples an outstanding eye for efficiency with a strategic mind to see beyond the numbers. 

Helen van Orton

Executive Contractor, Lotto

Helen has board experience in the charity and finance sectors built on 15 years executive leadership in global blue chip brands. She has strong international and cross-sector experience in Finance, Aviation and Telecommunications and is a passionate customer advocate with expertise in commercial strategy, stakeholder management, agile based digital transformation, P&L and budget management, marketing and risk management. She has held senior leadership roles in customer loyalty, product management, business development, customer experience, sales, contact centres and operations with teams of 2000+ staff.

Murray Thatcher

Entrepreneur/Business Mentor

As an entrepreneur, Murray was the first to bring vending machines to New Zealand and has founded two companies, both of which have since been sold to multinationals. Murray now spends his time as a philanthropist and business adviser. 

Glynis Sandland

Deputy Chief Executive, Services for Children and Families 

Glynis Sandland has held a number of senior operational roles in both the private and public sectors and is currently the Tumu Tamariki me ngā Whānau (ki te rāki) (DCE Services for Children and Families North) for Oranga Tamariki having held this position since June 2017. Prior to that Glynis led a programme of work for approximately 12 months for the Auckland Council to consolidate the various contact centres into one contact centre based in Manukau City. 

Jon Chapman-Smith

Creative Director, Fuman Design

Raised on a sheep and beef farm in Raglan on New Zealand’s west coast, Jon moved to study in Auckland and graduated with a Bachelor of Design in 2000. In 2003, he founded Fuman.co.nz a multi award winning design studio. Jon has produced for a range of clients, from fledgling startups to major corporates, including Suntori, JDE, TVNZ, Nice Blocks, Fly Buys, Tiger Beer, Ford, and the Vodafone Music Awards.
